Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate assistance with personal hygiene for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.
- Attend to basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
- Aid with mobility both within the house and outside, including accompanying clients to doctor's appointments and walks.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal planning, and preparation.
- Support clients with physical therapy exercises.
- Complete client's shopping or accompany them for successful outings.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and promptly report any unusual incidents.
- Offer support in essential daily living activities, including serving meals and other necessary tasks.
Qualifications:
- Maintain a clean background.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain insurance with reliable transportation every day.
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- Supportive, compassionate, and proud to provide high-quality care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver.
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and demonstrate eagerness to improve and learn new skills.
- Hoyer Lift experience is a plus (but not required).
