Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and helper, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences. Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings accurately. Help with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Maintain detailed care plans, documenting all care activities, observations, and client responses in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes. Strong knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, first aid, CPR, and manual handling techniques. Familiarity with specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and dementia support. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for clients. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Experience working with residents' (personal needs) in various home health or community care environments. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfers using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods.
