Job Description

Direct Care Staff - Starting at $16/hr SLAB Estates is hiring Direct Care Staff to work directly with youth in our group homes and help maintain a safe, structured, supportive environment.
Pay:
Starting at $16/hour
Position:
1099 Independent Contractor Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Must have a reliable vehicle Must have a valid driver's license Must maintain current auto insurance Must be able to pass a background check Must have a smartphone capable of using required SLAB/Connecteam systems Must be dependable and punctual Must communicate professionally with youth, staff, and management Must be comfortable working directly with youth in a group-home setting Must be able to follow house rules, routines, documentation requirements, and SLAB policies Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage with youth throughout your shift Maintain a safe, structured environment Assist youth with daily routines and responsibilities Prepare and offer meals as required Complete required youth notes and documentation Follow medication and documentation procedures when assigned Complete required youth checks Keep the home clean and follow the posted shift checklist Communicate important information to incoming staff and management Help transport youth when assigned and approved Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with youth Remain attentive and actively working throughout the entire shift Opportunity for Growth Direct Care Staff who show strong leadership, reliability, communication, and consistency may have the opportunity to move into a House Manager position with increased pay. We are looking for reliable, responsible people who can provide consistency, structure, and positive support to the youth in our homes. Starting pay is $16/hour with opportunities for advancement and pay increases.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
