Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other health challenges. This role requires a blend of personal care, emotional support, and practical assistance to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Observe and report any significant changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to appropriate personnel. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering independence and encouraging participation in daily tasks. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all health regulations and standards. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: First aid certification is preferred. Familiarity with care plans tailored for individual needs. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a group home setting. Knowledge of dementia care practices. Skills in patient observation and monitoring. Background in home care services or patient care. Understanding of social work principles as they relate to caregiving.
