Job Description
Job Overview We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals across various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, nursing homes, and in-home care. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistance devices Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Support residents with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or autism by providing engaging activities and emotional reassurance Document care activities meticulously in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and facility policies to ensure accurate records Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication reminders, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist residents with mobility using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's (personal assistance devices) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is desirable Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts Join us today to become part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care!
