Job Description
Job Responsibilities Assist clients with taking prescribed medications as directed. Assist clients with ambulation and mobility in and around the home, as well as during outings such as walks and doctor's appointments. Provide assistance with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Complete shopping and errands for clients or accompany them when needed. Perform light housekeeping duties that clients are unable to complete independently. Prepare meals while following any dietary restrictions or special instructions. Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining a respectful and caring environment. Respond quickly, calmly, and responsibly in the event of an emergency. Follow all care plans, company policies, and health and safety guidelines. Requirements Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required ; training may be provided. Willingness to follow health and safety standards and established care procedures. Basic knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation, with the ability to follow dietary restrictions. Must be respectful, compassionate, dependable, and have a caring bedside manner. Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and complete required physical tasks. Physical endurance necessary to assist clients with daily activities. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
