Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated DSW/Caregiver to join our team, providing essential support and personalized care to individuals in various care settings. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to deliver exceptional care while promoting independence and dignity for those served. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated caregiving and support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with client transfers while preventing injury, will train if need be Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in clients rooms and common areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes with a focus on geriatrics or long-term care Proficiency in safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during transfers or mobility assistance Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Familiarity with CPR, first aid procedures, and emergency response protocols to ensure client safety at all times, company will pay to certify caregiver Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home & community care settings Join us in making a positive impact by delivering compassionate caregiving that empowers residents to live their best lives.
