Position Overview PCSS is hiring a dependable Direct Support Worker (DSW) to provide one‑on‑one community engagement and daily living support for an adult with developmental/ intellectual disabilities. This role focuses on community outings, basic routines, transportation, and helping the individual stay safe and independent . What a DSW Does Plans and participates in community outings (library, parks, stores, events, etc.) Assists with grocery shopping and simple daily living tasks Provides safe transportation using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Encourages independence, communication, and social skills Helps with routines like organizing items, planning outings, and practicing life skills Completes a daily progress sheet and turns it in weekly to the PCSS office Maintains professional boundaries and follows all safety protocols Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8 am

•1 pm Saturday 10 am

•3 pm 20 hours per week total Requirements Reliable personal vehicle Valid driver's license Current auto insurance Clean background check High school diploma or GED Dependable and able to follow structured routines Comfortable documenting daily activities Compensation & Benefits $11/hour Mileage reimbursement at $0.54 per mile Mileage log provided Supportive team environment
