Job Description

A Caregiver provides non‑medical support to older adults needing assistance with daily living. The role focuses on safety, dignity, and compassionate care while promoting independence wherever possible. Key Responsibilities Personal Care Support Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene while maintaining client comfort and privacy. Mobility & Safety Assistance — Provide safe transfers, ambulation help, fall‑prevention monitoring, and general physical support. Meal Preparation — Prepare nutritious meals based on client preferences and dietary needs; assist with feeding if required. Medication Reminders — Prompt clients to take prescribed medications (no administration). Companionship — Offer conversation, emotional support, engagement in activities, and social interaction. Light Housekeeping — Maintain a clean, safe environment including laundry, dishes, and tidying client areas. Transportation & Errands — Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social outings when appropriate and safe. Dementia Support — Provide redirection, reassurance, and structured routines for clients with cognitive decline.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
