As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential support that promotes comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals across diverse needs and age groups. Your energetic approach and positive attitude will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and improve overall mental health. Administer medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe living environment. Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met with care and attention. Monitor clients' health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members. Follow care plans meticulously, adhering to safety protocols and respecting client preferences at all times. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any incidents or concerns. Experience Prior experience in home caregiving or providing personal assistance is highly valued. Background working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with chronic conditions, or those recovering from illness or surgery. Knowledge of medical-surgical care practices and familiarity with medication management. Experience supporting clients with geriatrics, post-acute care needs, or in outpatient/clinic settings is preferred. Ability to handle emergency situations confidently, especially those requiring Level II trauma center experience or emergency medicine skills. Demonstrated compassion and patience while working with individuals in various stages of recovery or chronic illness management. Certification or training related to Level I Trauma Center procedures or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) experience is a plus.
