$19.00 / hour About the Role Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? We are seeking dedicated, compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team in Brandywine, MD . In this role, you will provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), helping them build life skills, achieve personal goals, and engage actively with the local community.Key Responsibilities G-Tube Feeding and Flushing Personalized Support:
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.Skill Development:
Coach individuals in building independence through life-skills training, budgeting, and social engagement.Community Engagement:
Facilitate community outings, medical appointments, and recreational activities across the Pikesville and Greater Baltimore area.Documentation:
Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and behavioral tracking in compliance with state and agency guidelines.Safety & Advocacy:
Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment while advocating for the rights and choices of individuals served. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen. Active CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.Preferred:
