CARAFAP is an Autism Waiver agency and DDA Provider located in Columbia, Maryland. We provide in home supports throughout the state of Maryland. If hired, we will make every attempt to place you near your residence.

Requirements:

High School Diploma Preferred At least 100 hours or 1 year experience required working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Provide supportive intensive individual support services and/or respite care services to clients in home and/or in the community Encourage and promote client's independence and autonomy skills to provide behavior management strategies and skills Ability to handle challenging and difficult clients and situations (some may have extreme aggression) In a timely manner, complete all required documents supporting type of services provided to the client (including time and attendance, daily logs, progress and monthly notes, treatment plans, crisis plans, etc.) Provide least intrusive methods of intervention Maintain consumer confidentiality Provides supervision to the client while respite services are being performed

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
