Duties Engage residents in meaningful conversations, activities, and recreational pursuits to promote mental stimulation and emotional health Observe and monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, noting any changes or concerns related to memory care or neurodevelopmental disorders Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal transportation assistance Follow established care plans and resident rights policies to ensure respectful and individualized care delivery Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations, activity participation, and communication with healthcare teams while adhering to HIPAA regulations Provide companionship during outings or visits within the community to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with autism, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other neurodevelopmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification is desirable Experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents while maintaining professionalism Familiarity with resident's rights policies and HIPAA compliance standards to ensure privacy and dignity in all interactions Valid certifications in first aid and CPR are a plus; ongoing training in dementia care or hospice care is beneficial Available to work Weekends from morning to afternoon .
