In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents and clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night. Your expertise will support the seamless operation of our long-term care services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse healthcare needs, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, and complex medical conditions. Duties Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition while maintaining their safety and comfort. observe for any changes in health status, promptly reporting findings to nursing staff. Utilize safe patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to assist residents with mobility needs. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Document all care activities thoroughly in medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards. Respond swiftly to emergency situations using basic life support (BLS) skills and assist with patient transfers or urgent care as needed. Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients in long-term care facilities or nursing homes. Excellent caregiver communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is a plus. Pay:
