Job Description

Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team on a part-time basis in Lexington Park, MD. This position requires availability on Wednesdays (2pm
  • 10pm), Fridays (2pm
  • 10pm), and Saturdays (8am
  • 2pm).
The Residential DSP will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance required Ability to lift at least 50lbs Completion of all mandatory trainings and certifications
Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and medication management Engage individuals in recreational and social activities to enhance community involvement and independent living skills Implement personalized support plans and behavior management strategies Maintain accurate documentation of individual progress and any incidents Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and assistance Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of residents
Compensation:
