Thrive USA Home Care Services - Home Health Aid / Certified Nursing Assistant About the Role Thrive USA Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aid / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team across Maryland, DC, Florida, and Tennessee. We provide exceptional in-home support to veterans, military families, and individuals with diverse care needs. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensure their safety, and promote their independence and well-being. Your attention to detail and energetic approach will help create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring personalized care, particularly within our veteran and military communities. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor clients' health status by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting changes promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption if necessary Facilitate safe patient transfers using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of client spaces Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings to promote independence and engagement Required Qualifications Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's care), memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks using proper patient transfer methods Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and care plan documentation Valid certifications in
First Aid and CPR Position Details Pay:
$21-22 per hour

10-40 hours per week
