Full Job Description About SGI Healthcare Services:
SGI Healthcare Services is committed to delivering high-quality support that empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve physical and social independence. Licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, we provide residential home health care services across the state.
Shift Schedule Options:
8:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM 4:00 PM
  • 12:00 AM 12:00 AM
  • 8:00 AM Weekend shifts receive higher pay.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed oral medications accurately and on time Monitor and document patient conditions including temperature, pulse, and respiration Assist with evening routines such as toileting, hygiene, and dressing for bed Escort clients to late-day appointments or evening community activities Maintain accurate care logs and medication administration records Communicate any concerns to the RN Supervisor during 45-day care plan reviews
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Active Maryland CMT certification (issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing) Previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate medical documentation Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care Physical ability to assist with lifting, mobility, and transfers
