•Are you ready to help others SHINE?!? We are in need of caring individuals to work with clients in the Arundel, Shapleigh, North Berwick, and Sanford.
POSITION SUMMARY
A Behavioral Health Professional at Shine Above provides one-on-one support to children and youth ages 0-21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are delivered in the home and community settings and focus on implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting skill development, managing behaviors, and providing intervention and de-escalation as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Follow individualized treatment plans with goals specific to each child's needs Provide behavioral management, skill-building, and physical development activities Support the development of daily living skills to promote independence Deliver intervention and de-escalation services when necessary Maintain punctuality and consistency, working a minimum of 10 hours per week Participate in required training, supervision, and performance evaluations Complete and submit all required documentation accurately and on time. Progress Notes must be completed immediately following each shift and before transitioning to the next client to maintain accuracy, compliance, and proper client record separation. Properly sign in and out for each scheduled shift
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass DHHS background checks and criminal/felony background screenings Willingness and ability to travel to various client locations Must have reliable access to a personal smartphone capable of supporting company-required applications for documentation, scheduling, timekeeping, and secure communication. Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills May be required to transport clients using the employee's personal vehicle when transportation is specified in the client's treatment plan.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday in client's home and community Ability to manage occasional stress while working with children and families Ability to multitask
COMPENSATION
Hourly pay is based on weekly billable hours worked: 1-14.75 hours/week:
BASE PAY
per hour 15-19.75 hours/week: $23.00 per hour 20-24.75 hours/week: $25.00 per hour 25-29.75 hours/week: $27.00 per hour 30+ hours/week: $29.00 per hour Shine Above is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all qualified individuals to apply!!
