Location Dover-Foxcroft, Maine Work Arrangement Varies Schedule Flexible schedule with full-time, part-time, and per diem openings. Benefits Eligibility Varies Compensation $17.00-$22.10 per hour Job Overview Penquis is seeking Direct Care Professionals in the Dover-Foxcroft area to support individuals in residential and community settings. This role helps clients build independence, maintain meaningful community connections, and work toward personal goals with dependable daily support. Responsibilities Teach living skills according to each client's treatment plan. Complete objective documentation using required forms or electronic records. Support problem solving and the daily supports needed to meet client goals. Maintain cleanliness of the home and help plan, shop for, and prepare balanced meals. Transport clients to community locations, events, and appointments. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Provisional or MHRT-1 certification and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred; Penquis offers paid training to obtain these certifications. Ability to use or learn computer skills needed for agency programs and applications. Valid Maine driver's license. Ability to meet Penquis background-check requirements upon hire and periodically thereafter, with satisfactory results as required by current contract provisions.
