Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Hours:
Thur and Friday, 4p-10p and Sunday 10a-10p for a total of 24 hours a week Brighter Heights Maine is looking for engaging and patient DSPs to work in our 3 resident Winthrop home.
Licensure:
An existing DSP Certificate is desired and a Certified Residential Medication Aide Certificate( CRMA) is highly preferred. If needed, we will provide CRMA training at no cost to you.
DSP Responsibilities:
work with our clients, their families and other service providers to promote independence help them develop daily living skills, provide direct care and administer medication if you have your CRMA. assist with housekeeping, personal hygiene, transportation, meal prep, grocery shopping, take clients into the community for outings. always maintain respect for our clients and treat them with dignity
Requirements:
must have High School Diploma or GED One year of experience with adults in a supervised setting Must have strong Communication and computer skills Must have up to date state mandated immunizations Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
