Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a 2nd Shift Caregiver, where your compassionate support and attentive care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and clients. This role is perfect for energetic, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to providing exceptional senior and disability care during evening hours. You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a warm, supportive community atmosphere. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing quality of life and promoting independence for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being Maintain detailed documentation of care provided using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and update resident charts regularly Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Ensure a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and assisting with meal preparation Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures including first aid certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personalized support Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care best practices Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and accurately document care activities Valid driver's license preferred for transportation duties; willingness to assist with driving residents when needed Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and a proactive approach to caregiving Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts the well-being of others. $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
