Requirements Proven experience working as an In Home Caregiver or in related settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification. Familiarity with specialized care for dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities support. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment safely. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards. Capable of assisting with personal transportation and community outings while ensuring client safety at all times.
