Job Description
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld
- Document observations, incidents, and changes in residents' conditions
Experience:
- Previous experience working with older adults is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0- 40.
