Join our compassionate team as a Direct Care Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and residents. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care in an assisted living home. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will support patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being while ensuring their safety and comfort. Currently hiring for the 3pm-11pm shift. Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding to promote independence and dignity. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing memory care techniques and ensuring a safe environment. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely. Experience caring for elderly individuals. Experience in medication administration is preferred Ability to assist patients with mobility Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients. Must be reliable, on time and able to pass a background check! Willing to work as a team and keep a drama free environment. Must be able to work some nights, every other weekend and Holidays.
