Basic Responsibilities:

Personal care: Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Food:

Shopping, preparing, and feeding

Housework:

Light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping

Mobility:

Helping with transfers and mobility within the home

Medications:

Managing medications and dispensing them

Companionship:

Providing companionship and encouraging social engagement

Qualifications:

Family member MUST have Medicaid. Caregiver MUST be 18 years old. Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is beneficial. Strong understanding of the physical and emotional demands of caregiving. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
