Building Principal.QUALIFICATIONS.
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in area of responsibility with appropriate endorsement. Bachelor's Degree or higher in area of major study. Highly Qualified in accordance with No Child Left Behind Guidelines. Knowledge and/or understanding in consistent use of data to monitor student growth, inform instruction, and develop interventions. Experience in differentiated instruction, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports Systems, and individualized programming options for students. Ability to integrate technology into the curriculum. Superior communication skills in writing and speaking with all levels of management and staff. Applicants must be able to show proof of a satisfactory criminal background check as defined by state standards.RESPONSIBLILITIES.
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities. Create positive educational climate for students to learn in. Provide grades and administer assessments timely. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Provide on-going communication to parents on student progress and classroom activities. Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures. Practice proper classroom management techniques. Engage students in learning process, differentiate as needed.
