Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide medication reminders and ensure timely administration. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying living areas. Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities (e.g., conversation, games, walks). Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment. Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as required. Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate family member or supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require CNA certification). Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable for client travel). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and transferring clients when necessary. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Why Join care for you by us?
