Job Description

Join Our Team as a Resident Aide at Orchard Manor AFC! Orchard Manor AFC, a welcoming adult foster care family home in Posen, is seeking a compassionate and diligent Personal Care Assistant/Housekeeper. This role is ideal for someone who finds fulfillment in assisting elderly residents with their daily needs and enjoys a variety of tasks in a supportive, home-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and assist residents with daily activities, ensuring a safe and caring atmosphere Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning common areas and residents' rooms Prepare meals and assist with food service as needed
Position Details:
Hours:
20-30 hours per week.
Shifts:
Most shifts are short and are a mix of mornings and evenings. Here are the possible schedules for our shifts: 7:30 a.m - 1:00 p.m for mornings and 4-9 p.m. or 5-9 p.m for evenings.
Availability:
Must be available for evening shifts, including some on the weekends
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Compensation:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour We're looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, and able to transition smoothly between tasks. While no medical certification is required, experience in elderly care is preferred.
