This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable working independently, and wants to make a meaningful difference in someone's day-to-day life. The ideal candidate will be respectful, patient, reliable, and comfortable assisting with mobility and personal-care needs. Responsibilities Assist with daily personal-care routines and activities of daily living Assist with transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques Help with positioning, mobility, and wheelchair-related needs Assist with getting in and out of bed Provide assistance with dressing, bathing, and grooming as needed Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment Assist with errands or appointments when needed Provide companionship and conversation Be attentive to changing needs and communicate concerns appropriately Follow established care routines and instructions Respect privacy, independence, and personal boundaries Ideal Candidate Reliable and dependable Compassionate and patient Comfortable providing hands-on assistance Comfortable working around someone who uses a wheelchair Able to follow instructions and learn proper transfer/care techniques Good communication skills Respectful of privacy and personal space Nonjudgmental and easygoing Willing to become familiar with specialized equipment and routines Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not necessarily required for the right person What I'm Looking For I'm looking for someone who will treat this as more than just a job.
