Available Shifts:
Full Time or Part Time Day Shift (6a-2:30p) Full Time or Part Time Evening Shift (2:00p-10:30p) Must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Our Assisted Living serves residents residing in both our Memory Cottages and our Assisted Living buildings. The Senior Caregiver cares for the behavioral, psycho-social, medical, and activity of daily living needs as outlined in each tenant's care plan of a mostly geriatric population who have multiple medical diseases and conditions. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. Responsibilities Help clients take prescribed medication Assist clients with ambulation and mobility Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Compassion and empathy for senior residents Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and reliable Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
