This vital role involves fostering a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for residents or clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing quality of life through personalized care, attentive observation, and respectful companionship. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and well-being Administer medications following prescribed care plans and document medication administration accurately Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients, fostering a positive environment that encourages social interaction and mental stimulation Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through routine cleaning tasks, laundry assistance, and infection control practices Follow safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of residents or clients at all times Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans that address specific needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition promptly Hands-on experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing tasks Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient privacy Experience providing specialized care such as Alzheimer's care or memory care is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and family members involved in the resident's care Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
