Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CFSS to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in a personal care home or retirement home setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills and a genuine desire to help others. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide direct support in meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Help clients with mobility and lifting as needed, promoting independence while ensuring safety. Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being and social interaction. Implement behavior management strategies as necessary to support clients' emotional health. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the personal care or retirement home setting. Document daily activities and any changes in client condition to ensure proper care continuity. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of personal care systems and practices related to direct support. Ability to lift and assist clients safely, adhering to proper techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
