Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals. Support individuals with disabilities, including autism and dementia care, ensuring their specific needs are met. Help clients engage in social activities and maintain their independence within the community. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home community care or hospice care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial for ensuring client safety. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
