Join Homeward Bound as an ICF Direct Support Specialist and help twelve amazing people (across two 6-bed homes) live full and dignified lives in Plymouth and Maple Grove! This unique full-time position working awake overnights Sunday thru Thursday 11pm-9am . As an ICF Specialist, you'll: Build lasting relationships while making a real difference. Pass medications and ensure each individuals' health needs are met daily. Support two 6-bed residential homes typically working at one site for one week and the other site for the second week, switching sites every other week. Support residents with daily living skills, total personal cares, and health needs. Plan and enjoy outings, from shopping trips to fun community events. Cook fresh meals, do fun activities at home, celebrate birthdays and holidays, and create a happy home life. Encourage independence, laughter, and joy every day. Take an active role in ensuring the ICF programs you work at maintain compliance with licensing regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Compassion, patience, and a sense of fun. Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional caregiving role. CNA certification strongly preferred! Must be 18+, have a valid MN driver's license with a good record, and pass a DHS background study. CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if you don't yet have it). Experience working in group homes or similar settings supporting individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing. Must be able to accurately count money. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and meal preparation for both female and male residents. Familiarity with health monitoring techniques including vital signs. Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs. Commitment to empowering clients and respecting their dignity. Why Join Homeward Bound?
