Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Implement behavior management strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals.
• Lift and transfer individuals as needed, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Support individuals in developing social skills and fostering meaningful relationships.
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Elderly care or social work is preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and lifting heavy objects or individuals.
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
