Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist in administering medications and providing essential care to residents in assisted living setting. Your expertise will support the health and well-being of individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality resident care while adhering to all safety and privacy regulations. Duties Prepare and administer medications accurately following physician orders and established protocols Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition Monitor and record vital signs, medication effects, and patient responses Maintain detailed medical documentation ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Collaborate with nursing staff to update medical records, track medication schedules, and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition Provide compassionate caregiving support in assisted living Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with older adults Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, vital signs monitoring Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance while managing sensitive medical records and patient information
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.50 per hour
