Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and personal preferences while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and ensuring proper infection control practices are followed. Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare protocols and assist in updating individual care plans regularly. Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social interaction and mental well-being for clients. Skills Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with errands and grocery shopping as needed. Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible. Accurately document services provided. Communicate with supervisors regarding client needs or concerns.
