Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable couple to live in the home of a 46-year-old man with autism and help manage and support his daily life. This is a long-term, permanent live-in opportunity for individuals experienced with autism or related developmental disabilities. The goal is to provide a structured, positive, engaging, and supportive home environment while encouraging independence and community involvement.
Job Duties:
This is a 24/7 live-in role with substantial outside support already in place. Cary attends a weekday day program:
Monday-Friday:
8:00 AM - 2:30 PM An aide assists with exercise/activities from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM Weekend aides assist with hiking, community outings, shopping, and recreational activities One of the live-in couple will provide overall supervision, companionship, structure, and assistance with daily living needs while coordinating with support staff and helping maintain a stable routine.

To provide safety, training and a positive environment so both the aide and the autistic person have satisfying days together. The other person will not be paid and can seek employment if desired. This person would be mainly responsible as a backup if the main person cannot perform care as in case of illness or personal emergency.
