Private Duty you are with just one client in their home or apartment. The hours range anywhere from 4 to 12-hour shifts. When in the home the caregiver may just be companionship, safety oversight, light housekeeping, personal care and other things, depending on the client's needs.

Who You Are:

We seek a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Caregiver for our Private Duty department. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative, and to work towards accomplishing facility goals.

Position Summary:

Caregiver performs various personal care services as outlined on the care plan/service plan as necessary to meet the patient's needs. The Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patient's care.

Job Requirements:

Must meet the training requirements following State and Federal laws. A minimum of one (1) year of hands-on work experience is preferred. It can include experience in a home care, hospital, or assisted living setting. 18 years of age preferred. Must be self-directed and can work with little direct supervision.
