Overnight Private Duty Caregiver Job Summary:

As a compassionate and dedicated Overnight Private Duty Caregiver with Safe and Sound Home Care, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to elderly and disabled individuals in the Oxford, MS area. Our family-owned company is committed to helping our clients live safely and independently at home, and we're seeking a motivated and experienced caregiver to join our team. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation. Assist with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks. Plan and prepare meals. Complete client shopping or accompany them to shopping. Perform household duties. Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency. Offer essential daily living activities, including serving and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to continuously learn new skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner. Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends. Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year). Willingness to enforce safety standards. High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.
