Private Duty Caregiver Job Summary:

Safe and Sound Home Care, a family-owned company, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Caregiver to join our team in Oxford, Mississippi. As a Private Duty Caregiver, you will provide professional, one-on-one care to elderly and disabled individuals, enabling them to live safely and independently at home. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. Help clients take prescribed medication and assist ambulation. Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.). Plan and prepare meals. Complete client shopping or accompany them. Perform household duties. Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency. Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, serving, and other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner. Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends. Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year). Willingness to enforce safety standards. High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver. Take pride in providing high-quality care.
