Job Description

Your energy and positive attitude will help create a safe, respectful, and engaging atmosphere for residents with diverse needs, including those with cognitive disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while providing exceptional support to those in need. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor residents' vital signs and observe patient conditions to report changes promptly to healthcare professionals Engage residents through social activities, companionship, and behavioral management techniques to promote mental well-being Operate assistive devices including Hoyer lifts and perform manual handling safely to prevent injury Prepare meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and cleaning protocols Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes is highly preferred Certification in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Basic Life Support (BLS), and crisis intervention is required or obtainable upon hire Familiarity with patient safety standards, HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and EMR systems Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and patient condition reporting Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every individual receives respectful, attentive care.
