Job Description

Winds of Change provides residential services for adults living with mental health challenges. Our Group Home Staff play an important role in helping residents build independence while providing support, encouragement, and compassionate care in a safe, welcoming environment. No experience is required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed from your first day. Current Full-Time Opening (Full Time - 36 Hours)
Day Shift:
Sunday, Monday & Thursday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Benefits $1,000 hiring bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off Paid Sick Leave Casual dress code
Responsibilities:
Support residents with daily living activities Assist with meals, medications, housekeeping, and daily routines Transport residents to appointments and community activities Create a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment Complete documentation and communicate with your team Encourage independence while building positive relationships Cleaning common areas Adapt skills for home, work, education, vocation, leisure, and social activities Provide immediate crisis intervention; attend to the 24-hour crisis line Oversee the preparation of 3 nutritious meals per day Ability to maintain regular attendance
Requirements:
High school diploma preferred. Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time Winds of Change is a mental health clinic dedicated to inspiring change, fostering hope, and promoting recovery.
