Job Overview Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker and bring vibrant landscapes to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces through hands-on work with a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping tasks. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your technical skills and attention to safety, will help create inviting environments that clients love. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in landscape maintenance while contributing to the aesthetic appeal of our community spaces. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to mow grass, trim shrubs, and clear debris efficiently and safely Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and identifying plants to ensure healthy growth Manage irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to optimize water distribution Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as edging lawns, aerating soil, and applying pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols Assist with hardscape projects including installing pathways, retaining walls, or other outdoor structures as needed Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools; perform basic repairs or coordinate servicing to ensure safe operation Follow all safety procedures diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment operation required Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment essential for daily tasks Ability to identify plants and understand horticultural practices for healthy landscape management Knowledge of pesticide management and irrigation systems is highly desirable Strong adherence to safety protocols during all operations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and performing manual labor over extended periods Valid driver's license preferred for operating equipment or transporting materials on-site Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help craft stunning outdoor spaces!
