Job Description
Lunch Shift for a bed bound patient that needs lunch, turning, and changing of disposable brief. 12pm-1:15 pm Occasional Weekend shift needed when family is out of town. For reliable and serious applicants only. Client lives near Northside Elementary School.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides courteous, qualified and safe personal care services, as defined by the NC Division of Health Service Regulations (https://info.ncdhhs.gov/dhsr/ahc/index.html), to agency patients in accordance with the prescribed Plan of Care and under the supervision and direction of the agency's Director of Nursing and its policies and procedures.SPECIFIC DUTIES
Provides courteous, qualified and safe personal care services. Complies with agency policies and procedures. Performs duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Recording and reporting changes in the client's condition, family situation or needs to theRN. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Must provide own means of transportation to patient assignments. Physical condition that conforms to state and federal requirements and the requirements of the job. A compassionate and concerned attitude regarding the care of the sick and elderly. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communications. Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing. Ability to effectively deal with stress.WORKING CONDITIONS
Work environment will be in patient homes with varying degrees of sanitary, comfort and functional conditions; visits done alone; travel on a variety of roads into various community or neighborhoods; patients accepted with communicable and/or infectious diseases.Job Type:
