Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and group homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care and support for individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and autism. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain cleanliness in the living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare providers or family members. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts when necessary for patient mobility. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for patient assistance. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams, families, and clients. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
