Residential Weekend IDD Care - Overnights (PT)
Who Are We:
InReach provides a wide variety of supports and services across the lifespan for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.
What we need:
Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.
What You'll Do:
Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking. Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal carehygiene. Provide community recreational activities when available. Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities. Documentation of activities. Help residents develop healthy social habits. Dispense medication and monitor dosages. Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal skills Willingness to help others At least 21 years old; prior group home experience preferred. At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable. A valid Driver's license
A High School Diploma or GED Job Type:
Part-time Hours:
30+ hours over the weekend (Fri-Sun)
Rate:
$16.00 per hour (Earn over $500 per weekend)
Schedule:
Friday 6pm - Sunday 6:30pm (every other weekend; overnight sleep stay FridaySaturday is required) This position does not include pay for time spent sleeping during a shift.

Hickory, NC 28601
Benefits:
Teladoc Health Extensive Training Program including on-the-job training. Free meals while on duty. All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
