Job Description
Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document accordingly using EHR systems Provide specialized care for residents employing behavior management techniques Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and clean up to promote nutritional health Maintain a clean and safe environment through supervision of regular cleaning and sanitation of resident areas, as well as light housekeeping PRN. Support residents' social engagement through recreational activities and social interventions Transport residents when necessary for appointments or community outings, adhering to safety protocols Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members regarding resident status Experience/Requirement High School diploma/GED Prior experience not necessary Experience providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism desirable Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and use of EHR systems desired, but not mandatory Background in long-term care or personal care homes is advantageous Previous caregiving roles involving behavioral management or resident support are beneficial Valid driver's license and insurance required for transportation duties This position is ideal for caregivers passionate about providing compassionate support in a structured environment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents.
