Job Description
The Reid Legacy Home is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Care Aides to support adolescents in a Residential Level II group home setting. Direct Care Staff provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to residents while maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive living environment. Staff play an important role in helping youth develop life skills, accountability, and confidence while working toward a positive future. Key Duties and Responsibilities Supervise residents and ensure safety at all times Maintain structure and daily routines within the home Assist residents with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene reminders, and household responsibilities Support positive behavior and use de-escalation strategies when needed Document daily activities, incidents, and resident progress Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment Assist with transportation to appointments or activities when required Communicate important information during staff shift changes Follow all DHHS regulations and facility policies Requirements High school diploma or GED Ability to pass a criminal background check Reliable transportation Willingness to complete required staff training Ability to work independently and maintain a structured environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working in group homes, caregiving, youth services, or behavioral health CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with adolescents or at-risk youth Join Our Team At The Reid Legacy Home, we believe every young person deserves stability, guidance, and positive role models.
