Job Description

Job Overview Hi there! I am looking for a dedicated nanny to support my family. This position starts on November 16th and focuses on one toddler. The job requires weekday mornings and weekdays during the day. The ideal candidate has experience with multiple children and can provide a safe, organized environment. A reliable car is necessary for outings and activities. The nanny will engage with my child in fun, educational play, handle meal preparation, and assist with daily routines. The schedule is a bit different with her father and I, she is with me 20 days then him 10, while she is with him you would have time off. If interested please reach out! Responsibilities Provide attentive childcare tailored to each child's age, needs, and developmental stage, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary requirements and preferences Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and educational activities Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures to promote development and creativity Maintain a clean and organized environment through residential housekeeping tasks such as tidying up play areas and children's bedrooms Support children's educational growth by implementing teaching activities or assisting with preschool or daycare curriculum when applicable Administer basic first aid and CPR in case of emergencies while adhering to safety protocols Communicate regularly with parent regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns Requirements Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers Prior nannying or private home childcare experience preferred; experience with multiple children is a plus Knowledge of childcare best practices, including infant care, preschool activities, and toddler development Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is advantageous Ability to assist with meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional needs Strong organizational skills to manage household tasks related to childcare responsibilities such as cleaning up after playtime or preparing learning materials Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and family members Demonstrated patience, reliability, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for caring for children
Pay:
$100.00 - $130.00 per week
